Convocation and Open House 2005
May 27, 2005
2005-05-27 - Another successful Convocation saw Queen’s Commerce, MBA for Science & Technology, Executive MBA and the inaugural class of Accelerated MBA for Business Graduates students receive their degrees at Jock Harty Arena.
Queen’s honorary doctorate went to Tom O’Neill, BCom’67 and vice-chair of the Queen’s Board of Trustees. Currently director of several companies, including Loblaws, Dofasco, Bell, and Nexen, Mr. O’Neill also serves on the Board of Directors for St. Michael's Hospital.
The Goodes Hall Open House followed the ceremony with a fabulous turnout of graduates. The atrium was packed full of happy students and their families milling about, with grads enjoying their accomplishments and showing off Goodes Hall. For any alumni who wish to view photos from the Open House, feel free to visit Alumni Central, where they have been posted.
The school congratulates all the recent graduates on their accomplishments and wish them the very best of success.
