Profs and staff recognized at COMMitment Dinner

2003-03-20 - March 20, 2003 - KINGSTON - Every year the COMMitment Dinner brings together the Commerce graduating class for a final celebration before the onset of exams. In addition to presenting awards to their classmates for sports and extracurriculars, Queen's School of Business professors and staff are singled out for special recognition, as voted by the students.
Professor Rick Jackson was awarded the Commerce Society Teaching Award for excellence in the classroom and for dedication to students.
Professor Peter Kissick received the Commerce’89 Award, which is given to the faculty member who contributed most to the student life of the graduating class over their four years in the program.
The NSC Award was presented to Technology Manager Dean McKeown, in appreciation for his assistance to students.
This year's COMMitment Dinner was even more special as it was the first to be held in Goodes Hall, the new home of Queen's School of Business.
