Program Fees

For those taking the complete Graduate Diploma in Accounting course load, a non-refundable deposit of $500 is required upon acceptance to the program. For those taking fewer than four courses, a non refundable deposit of $150 per course is required upon acceptance.

Please note: the fee schedule for the class commencing in May, 2013 is currently being developed.

These fees are subject to final approval from the Queen’s University Board of Trustees.

Additional Fees:

  • All students will be required to pay the Student Assistance Levy of $33.13 and this fee will be reflected in your student financial record.
  • Students do not pay a Student Activity Fee while taking this program. For students who wish to gain access to the Queen’s Athletic & Recreation Centre or take Kingston Transit, it is up to you to contact them directly.
  • International students will be required to purchase the University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) if they cannot provide evidence of equivalent coverage. A person is classified as a Domestic Student if they have Canadian citizenship, landed immigrant status, permanent resident status or dual Canadian citizenship.   • Tuition fees do not include the cost of books, case materials and any other instructional supplies.

Financing

Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP)

Those accepted into the Queen's Graduate Diploma in Accounting Program can apply for OSAP. As stated on the OSAP website, OSAP is a needs-based program and provides eligible Ontario students with financial assistance to help pay for their tuition, books, mandatory fees, living costs and transportation.
